The Ref: 118235 Day-Date 36 in Everose gold with the carousel dial — mother-of-pearl inlaid in a spiralling mosaic, one of the more elaborate dials Rolex has produced for the President. No two mother-of-pearl dials repeat, which suits a watch whose entire purpose is singularity. This 2014 example comes from the generation before the 128235, driven by the Calibre 3155, on the concealed-clasp President bracelet. The 2014 production date places it late in the reference’s run, with the refinements of the generation intact and the pricing of the outgoing model.
