Sell Your Rolex

We buy Rolex outright from private sellers across Australia, settling by bank transfer on authentication. Rolex is the brand we trade most — more than 150 distinct references have passed through our hands — and that volume is why we price quickly and firmly. Tell us the reference, condition and paperwork status, and we come back with one straight offer.

We authenticate at our Melbourne CBD boutique on Collins Street, and through trusted watchmaking partners in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and the Gold Coast. If you are in one of those cities, you can leave your watch with our partner watchmaker for assessment and be paid on authentication — you never post it and you never wait on a courier. How we buy nationally, across all brands, is covered on our sell a watch page — this page is about Rolex specifically.

Which references are we actively seeking?

In truth, most of them — the list below reflects current demand, not a boundary. If your reference is not here, send it anyway. These are the pieces we are buying most actively right now:

  • Daytona — 116500LN, 126500LN, 116515LN, 126515LN, 116508, 126508, 116518LN, 126518LN, 116519LN, 116505, 126506

Gem-set pieces are welcome where the setting is factory — we do not deal aftermarket settings.

How do we value your Rolex?

We price against the live market using our own trade data. Because we sell Rolex in volume, we know what these references actually change hands for this month — not last year's auction results, not asking prices that never transact. You send the reference, year, condition and what accompanies the watch; our horologists assess it; and we make a single firm offer. No opening bid, no back and forth. Working order and service history are taken into account, and a watch needing service is not a barrier — it is simply factored into the figure.

What happens when you accept?

The watch is examined and authenticated by our trained horologists — in person at an appointment, or on arrival if it travels by insured courier. On authentication, you are paid by bank transfer, typically the same day. That is the whole process. For select pieces, consignment is available as an alternative at a fee of 5–10%, but for most sellers the outright sale is faster and cleaner, and we will tell you plainly which we would choose.

Do you need the box and papers?

Full sets — box, papers, card — are strongly preferred and command the strongest figures. Incomplete sets are considered case by case, with pricing adjusted accordingly. Either way, every piece is authenticated by our horologists regardless of provenance; the watch itself must always pass our bench.

Can you sell a Rolex discreetly?

Yes, and for some sellers this is the deciding factor. Our client network runs deep, in Australia and internationally, which means high-profile or recently acquired pieces can be placed quietly — often without ever appearing publicly. We never publicise who sold us a watch or what was paid, and our sold archive lists pieces without prices. Discretion is not an add-on; it is how the business runs.

Questions sellers ask us

How quickly will I actually be paid?

By bank transfer on authentication — typically the same day the watch passes our bench. There are no holding periods and no staged payments.

My Rolex has no box or papers — will you still buy it?

Case by case, yes. The price adjusts to reflect the incomplete set, and authentication by our horologists applies as it always does. Tell us what you have and we will give you a straight answer.

I'm not in Melbourne — how does it work?

In Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and the Gold Coast you can leave your watch with our partner watchmaker, who authenticates it locally, and we settle by bank transfer on authentication. Everywhere else, the watch travels by insured courier, is authenticated on arrival, and you are paid the same way.

Can you find my next watch once I've sold?

Yes — many sellers fund their next reference with the sale. Tell us what you are hunting and our sourcing service goes to work on it, in Australia and internationally.

Ready when you are: send the reference, condition and paperwork status, or browse the Rolex we hold and have traded to see the calibre of pieces that pass through us. One offer, paid on authentication.
