Reference 126234 again, Datejust 36 in White Rolesor, but this is the green dial that deepens towards the rim, and it is fitted here on an Oyster bracelet rather than the usual Jubilee.

Green is the colour Rolex has been least willing to hand around, and a graded green is scarcer still. Under the sapphire the centre reads as a clear bottle green and the outer third falls away almost to black, so the applied white gold batons sit on a light field in the middle of the dial and a dark one at its edge. It photographs badly and wears beautifully, which is the usual relationship between those two things.

The Oyster bracelet is the quieter choice here. Three broad flat links, brushed across the top, and it pulls the whole watch towards sport rather than dress. Set against a fluted white gold bezel that is an odd combination, and a rather good one.

Calibre 3235, self-winding, approximately 70 hours of power reserve, certified to minus two and plus two seconds a day after casing. Waterproof to 100 metres, with the folding Oysterclasp and its 5 mm Easylink comfort extension.

Dated 2026 and brand new, offered as a full set. Buying it second hand is the only unusual thing about the transaction, since nobody has worn it.
