Patek Philippe Nautilus Travel Time Chronograph Ref: 5990/1A 2024
The 5990/1A asks the Nautilus case to do more than any other: a flyback chronograph and a Travel Time dual-time mechanism, compressed into the porthole silhouette Genta drew in 1976. Local and home time read from separate hands with day/night indicators for both; the pushers at eight and ten adjust the travel hour in single jumps. The blue-black embossed dial is classic Nautilus grammar. A 2024 example, authenticated in hand by our horologists, complete with its full set. Pieces of this standing more often change hands privately than publicly.
