Travel Time is the complication that earns its place. Two hour hands, one for home and one for where you are, adjusted by the two pushers set into the left flank of the case — and crucially, adjusted without stopping the movement or disturbing the minutes. Two apertures read LOCAL and HOME so there is never any doubt which hand you are looking at.

In rose gold the Aquanaut becomes a different proposition from the steel version. The embossed grid dial reads chocolate rather than black, warm against the case, and the whole watch loses the sports-watch neutrality that steel gives it.

The movement is calibre 26-330 S C FUS, self-winding, with the dual time-zone mechanism that gives the watch its name. The date is coupled to local time, so it follows you rather than home. Between 35 and 45 hours of power reserve, water-resistant to 30 metres, and 40.8mm across the case.
