F.P. Journe Élégante 48 Titanium White 2021
The Élégante 48 is Journe's answer to a question no one else thought to ask: a quartz watch worthy of the manufacture. Its electromechanical movement watches for stillness — after roughly half an hour off the wrist the hands park themselves and the calibre sleeps, waking and resetting to the correct time the moment it senses motion, a patented standby that stretches battery life toward two decades. This is the natural titanium execution with the white rubber strap, the tortue case reading almost silver-white on the wrist. A 2021 example, examined and authenticated in hand by our horologists, and offered as a full set.
