Cartier Santos-Dumont Skeleton Steel 2024
The Santos-Dumont Skeleton in steel — Cartier's flat classic opened up so the movement's bridges form the design itself, driven by a micro-rotor calibre that keeps the case genuinely thin. It is the intellectual's Cartier: the 1904 case shape, the exposed architecture, no crown guard theatrics. This 2024 example is essentially current, and skeleton Santos-Dumonts reach the secondary market in small numbers. The skeleton dial rewards the second look the case shape earns it. On the wrist it is the thinnest watch in this archive, and among the most commented upon. Examined and authenticated in hand by our horologists before sale, and accompanied by its full set.
